No more dead-end conversations

With the 14th – 20th of June being Men’s health week, it is important for us to take time to check in with both ourselves and the people around us.

To put some perspective on the cause, the health status of males in most countries, including Australia, is generally poorer than that of females. Only 30% of a man’s overall health is determined by his genetics whilst 70% is controllable through lifestyle.

As foundations come together to promote such a worthy cause iyarn looks towards creating conversations with one another that doesn’t end at ‘How are you going?”.

Driven by Movember, we look at the simple method of ‘Reach out with ALEC’ in conjunction with iyarn to allow you to maintain that support beyond the first check-in conversation.

By knowing how to tackle tough conversations we can transform them into positive ones by ensuring we know how to listen and support when given the opportunity.

To kickstart these conversations use one of our templates in the app here.
